Teachings
The Path
Body - health
Heart - feelings
Mind - psychology
Spirit - teachings
The material body, and perceptual awareness is the base, the foundation from which we build.

The middle way is the center-point, the union of apparently dissimilar, oposite energies meeting in a state of dynamic tension and unity. Moved by the spirit to seek balance.

If you would talk to angels and be in their company, then be like an angel so they can stand being in your company.

By doing the work of heaven while yet on earth, we dismiss the artifice called death. To do such work, you must know what that work is.
 Dispel evil.
 Fight injustice.
 Counter-balance unfairness
 Reduce suffering

Must not be behind, either physically or in developmental terms, stay together.
Must not be in back, for the reception (of the Lord) is through the bottom of the back of the skull.

 Share love
 Teach truth
Speak in a deep resonant voice, and take the steps precribed, in order to move forward and progress more quickly. We individually (and collectively) are officially out of time.

PERFORMANCE
Study as much as you need, and put it to use. For it is only through usage that the Word becomes alive, ablaze. Do good work with others to achive useful objectives. Many lifetimes to go around.

The METHOD
Give thanks, give back, honor those who went before, who saw the trail, who opened the path
Holy texts are training manuals, and people may not get the message right away, so repetition is important. Practice the lessons, with active application in our own lives, in order to absorb the instruction. In fact, the path is clear. It's now up to you who can understand to do it. Prepare the vessel. Gifts That are Exercised.
Approaching death, the body activates systems rarely used, in an attempt to enable resources. Also, by noting the order in which systems shut down approaching death, we may discern what to focus on.
The foundation, or the base reference, is the body and material reality as is commonly understood, and able to be perceived with traditionally-accepted and recognized senses. Begin with that which you can see, hear, and sense, with the commonly-used basic senses. LIST THEM. For without senses, you are senseless, and it is very difficult to communicate, perform, participate, and contribute.
START with physical sensation, the body, and common perception as the foundation, the base, the starting point. THEN, use reference, comparison, connection, correspondence to extrapolate to less-understood or less-known areas.
You are not flesh as you may suppose. You yourself are the treasure, the innermost temple, the Holy of Holies, the ARK and SHIP and container of the covenant. How will we discover the treasure? As it has always been done, seek the treasure within yourself, for the location isn't secret. There is missing developmental system whereby the body is changed, and the steps we use to transform have been hidden.

We need definition, clarity, because there's confusion in speaking with people because identical words are being used in muliple contexts, and many hearers are not well-prepared enough to receive the multiple meanings, and so they are lost in translation. So, we need precise definitions and exposition until it is clear to all.

That's beneath me, below me - it isn't worthy of my attention.

CONCENTRATION
Guard your treasure, for where your desire is (your interest, attention, perception, focus, concentration, and understanding), there you are, or more precisely, that's what you are, for you are built out of these things.
Meditative awareness, intense, concentrated practice. Replay (in real time, as long as takes) all the good acts you have done in your lifetime, just as the review will take place after death. Study the lives of the achievers, identifying yourself with them, first through reading, but then in imagination and visualization, daydreaming until you see your mind's eyes matching what passes for consensual reality in the material plane. Replay all the bad acts you have done, making peace with your mistakes, learning from them, and resolving not to repeat errors.
ATTENTION
At all times and in all situations, examine your mindstream moment by moment: are thoughts positive or negative? When you recognize a thought to have negative content, be aware of its potential for harm and lay it aside. Only those who have understood the illusory nature of the world and have erased from their hearts all concern or desire for what it has to offer, can turn their hearts and minds wholeheartedly to the root, the source. It is a simple matter of attention; so long as thoughts continue to be focused on the world of name and form, the mind is not free to dwell singly and purely on the source of all this manifestation.

 - Sexual Desire, Lust, Sense Perceptions -
Imagining, looking at, and spending time with attractive members of the opposite sex, may spark sexual and emotional desire. Attraction in of itself is natural, and even may be a path toward tantric union. The danger, however, lies in that desire may blind us to elements of higher nature.

PERFORMANCE
The powers, like siddhis, are told not to be sought, as a distraction, but in identification with the powers, and the achievement of those powers, accidental mastery happens.

Speed - the shortest time, the fastest achievement

 Monks Chanting

CONCENTRATION
A small monastery, with a library and a handful of monks, or even starting with just yourself. Quiet enough to provide near-solitude, and an ideal place to stay, study, and meditate. A time of silence for several hours, twice daily, with all sounds attended to, and deep caves nearby. Test the atmosphere of the caves for air quality, and seepage of dangerous gases or emissions.

EGO, PRIDE
  Be mindful of death.
  Take steps to reduce pride.
Being humble oneself, not praising ourself.
Don’t lie or boast about attainments, accomplishments.

Be willing to sacrifice.

Hide and conceal attainments from all who inquire, never mind claiming achievements to those who do not ask. Keep achievements hidden, especially in the company of people that are concerned with material matters.
Develop a support community, that has tolerance, approval, and/or participation playing a specific part. The student always can come back to a warm, well-known and trusted security. The threshold between autistic and sensual reality becomes a well-worn path, a door well-hinged and oiled through which access is easy and safe in both direction.

PLACE
Where you focus your mind, there you are.
No more in this place than you are in any other. Angels don’t operate in space, rather appearing instantaneously at the focus of their attention, so that when an angel turns toward the person or experience that attracts, it seems as though they materialize into that space. Dismissing superficial, material appearance, seeing clearly, choose the work at hand.
You cannot win by fighting.
Consider what you are causing to be written in the book of life.
Work on yourself.
Don't fear to be alone.

PERFORMANCE
Don't get too excited if phenomena start expressing, yearning to tell anyone nearby about the mystical nature of the experience, which of course drives the energy right away. Onlookers may be aware of nothing more than a little dance. Don't place your hopes in communication at this early stage, multiplying the difficulty of maintaining the right state of mind.
Hold onto the correct tones, notes. A sustained effort will be required, and what you hold in mind and heart without distraction will become yourself.
Respond coherently to the situation that presents itself in a reasonable manner. Do not indulge in reckless or bizarre behavior, even for fun, as it may be misunderstood.

Boredom is a challenge to creativity and worthwhile action.
STUDY
Study the teachings, then take the required steps in order to achieve success. You have all the requirements in place. It's yourself who is in charge of maintaining the connection, and who's slowing down this transmission. Depart from rational thinking and logical deduction. Move into right-brain activities and growth. Sure fire, but you haven't scratched the surface of what's humanly possible.

PRACTICE
The sorrow and longing due to parting with love, is inherent in the joy and connection felt upon meeting. Because you fear separation, you do not leave home and your loved ones, sacrificing what might have been.
======================================
======================================
STUDY
Write the words down, not only to share with others, but that you may read and study them as well. Don't write difficult-to-understand passages. Make it simple, easy to understand, easy to follow.

PRACTICE
Don't broadcast your intentions. Stop talking and get to work.
There will never be a time when you will cease to be occupied, so set aside time now, and practice diligently. As challenging as it is to begin practicing, it is more challenging to reach the point of continuous effort.
The idea stage, while at the beginning of production and the most delicate, is at the same time the most open to input from other dimensions of awareness. Speech is somewhere between ideas and action. The final product, the creation, the material object, while being the most concrete, is at the same time the hardest to change, and the least open to creative input from more subtle planes and states of awareness.
Live as if we can read the keys.
Living in a high, clean place, with flowers and good air, surrounded by kind, honest people engaged in meaningful, valuable work. Clothing should mirror that of the angels, mostly plain colors if not white, and unadorned. Words should be well-spoken, with good intention, and care.
Do the right thing boldly, with respect and honor, helping your fellow beings, where you meet them. For it is no coincidence that they are sent.
Learn from your mistakes. Make fewer errors moving forward
Correct yourself, get to work. Atone for past errors.
Reduce feelings of superiority. Humble yourself.
If you are not up to the task, then choose easier lessons.
When you talk to another being, be gentle and humble.
Using materiality for good uses, creating examples that others may understand and follow. Wealth is a tool, but don't trade too much time for it.
Be content with what you’ve got and stick tight. Make due and don't complain. Otherwise, one day you’ll end up a nuisance, a show-off in robes who just rambles on from one valley to the next, sniffing around like a stray dog.
Guard your practice in secret, not to be an outward show, due to the possession of a self.
Establish good correspondences in daily life, a good connection by way of analogies between heaven and earth.

Don't try to understand the whole of the law. Rather, use your present, imperfect understanding to improve your state. You ask for more knowledge, more freedom, and greater abilities. Stop asking for more food until you've finished the food already on your plate.
Let go of your compulsion for planning for the accomplishment of mundane objectives. If you indulge in planning, and preparing large projects for the future, involvement will never end. Should you wish to retire to some isolated place and pursue your spiritual practice, go whenever you think of doing so, without losing sight of your intention. If you don't do it then, adverse conditions may divert you in innumerable ways.
Do not wait to find an ideal place for solitary retreat. Practice where you are. Practice what you have studied, and the meaning will take on new life in application and examination. Generate internal states of realization and awareness before sharing your treasure with the mundance world.
Let it suffice for today to understand and practice today's message. Let the work of today and its cares be sufficient for today, neither rushing nor dawdling, neither trying too hard, or not enough. Just right, just in time, according to the audience's capacity and desire. Things have their correct time and place, and we must not fight the natural order. Zen masters worked on becoming aware of correct timing, place, action and speech.

  EFFORT
Resolve to increase your resolution, the sharpness of your perception and understanding. Commit to learning to tell the difference between noise and message. Vow to be resolute, tasked with a work, yielding good works, follow it doggedly to completion.
Increase your 'resolution,' effort, vows, resolve.
Increase your 'resolution,' clarity, definition, seeing.
PATIENCE
  Develop patience through repeated experience.
Patience is the antidote for anger.
Make an effort to control and release anger.
Be known as patient, wise, and slow to anger.
Accept that others make mistakes. Be patient and forgiving.
Develop patience with ignorance, to better deal with beginners.

GENEROSITY
Support people working towards bettering themselves.
Go to the assistance of those in need.
  Take care for the sick.
  Reduce the distress of others.
Give to those who seek charity.
  Dispel suffering.
If asked, help others to overcome their bad habits.
Return help to those from whom benefit has been received.
  Give material aid.
  Offer teachings of Dharma.
Be kind, protective, and accessible toward the poor, elderly, and weak.
Helping others brings benefit to yourself. All beings are you.
If you have altruistic motives, avoid harming others.

Give material aid, and teachings where appropriate, if anyone is home to receive. Do not turn a blind eye against the poor and the hungry, feed the starving until you yourself die starving.

GOOD CONDUCT
  Act wrathfully when appropriate.
  Apologize when the opportunity arises.

Act and behave in ways that will inspire others, and are apropriate to the situation.
Praise the good qualities of others.
Help others to avoid errors, or loss of face.
Don't criticise, shame, ridicule, tease, or make others feel badly.
  Be respectful to others.
Act in accordance with the inclinations of others.
  Set clear and dependable boundaries.
Don't make rules, or control others. Allow freedom.

Be chaste, not promiscuous. Build up energy.
Be content, not desiring what belongs to others. Don't be jealous.

  Tell the truth, don't lie.
  Don't steal or cheat.
Don't threaten verbally, or threaten bad actions.

Don't retaliate to harm or abuse received.
Abandon negative actions. Do no harm.
Don't accept stolen property, or proceeds.
  Don't associate with criminals.

Deal with stress without so much personal investment.
Diligent effort is the antidote for laziness.

Don't use miraculous powers for mundane desires
Hide your virtues, and expose your faults.
Negative karma may result from far in the past. Don't judge.
Introduce good karma at every turn.

Be a hero, stand up and fight for what is right. Understretching is lack of confidence, avoidance.
Stand up for your rights, and the rights of others.

KARMA
To know the likely effects of given causes is the beginning of wisdom. Choose wise actions, and sow the seeds of good causes. Through many small, good steps, you can improve your situation. Help others to see more clearly and pursue their goals, but don't neglect your own business. As it is written, don't ignore your own poor, in going forth to assist the world.
If you are happy, and healthy, it shows that many systems are functioning. Similar to a truck tha runs well, and doesn't shake or make noise. You don't have to understand all systems, just recognize that mostly, they are ok.
There exist precious, pivotal moments of choice, where you choose good or bad futures for yourself (and others associated with you) but may be unaware of the future results of present causes, some being so slight as to be unnoticed. We may underestimate the results in any case, unbelieving that such slight causes or even the accumulation thereof could be considerable and unchangeable later. The situation is like tiny snowflakes falling so gently.
Whatever you do, past karma must be exhausted, so balance the scales of justice at every opportunity. Since there are yet causes remaining in place, so there remain actions to complete, taking up your attention. It is rare when you are able to realize your dreams, and accomplish what you set out to do in a human lifetime. Invest some quality time remembering your childhood, back to birth, reaching the bardo state, and then previous lives.

CORRECT VIEW
There is no 'self,' not a selfless, generous person, but rather literally 'no self,' apart from the collection of sense-generated perceptions that you incorrectly imagine taking place through time, making up the image that you falsely hold to be you.

As Alan Watts said, The outline of your body is at the same time the inline of the rest of the universe, and there is no particular separation involved between the two parts. Sustain non-conceptual awareness, whether in meditation, during household duties, or while doing crafts.
Holding illusory appearances to be true makes you weary over time. Develop a strong, hard-to-disturb frame, and don’t react so strongly to every tiny difficulty and challenge that results from the daily affairs of life.
Silence is golden. The moment you have a viewpoint, identity is established. The moment you form words, in order to differentiate objects and ideas, the left-brain is engaged. Better that you should paint a picture, sculpt an animal, or dance or sing. Anything rather than speaking or doing math problems, unless teaching other beings with a need and stated desire to learn.
Every man or woman, every child or cat or rock, all is me. If they disturb you, do not think to correct them in your small understanding, for I made them, leave that to me. All will be revealed.

You don't have to wait for death, it's revealed right now. Even when you think you are alone, at the bottom of a deep, deep pit, I am there with you, suffering with you. I am your suffering, I am you, there is no suffering, only self-limitation. Do you want the man in the hall to stop talking, does he die to disturb you? Then stop him talking, make him go away, for he is you.
All seemingly distinct objects are in fact one smooth banket of snow on the mountain, the individual snowfakes bright in their beauty and uniqueness, but at the same time belonging to all. Each snowflake both apart and separate, and belonging to and participating in, making both one thing and many.
In short, the phenomenological, material world is just as much supreme bliss and enlightenment as much as it is nothingness. This is the secret teaching, that there is a seeming contradiction at root nature of reality. Lucky to see the all-encompassing, undivided nature, lucky to see the nothingness, lucky to see the inherent magical nature and heavenly love and wisdom, for who is loving and wise, if not the Lord.
All things are both eternel and ephemeral two in one, unity in apparent duality, only seemingly differing due to perspective. Seeing the many in the one, calling them out by name and making useful association for a lifetime, all rejoins the maker in timeless, spontaneous nature. Naming the parts of the whole as separate, the names convince and confuse, and language is the limitation.
Speak truth, even though it doesn't seem to agree with mundane awareness. Speaking the truth, and not limiting to material perception will, over time, reprogram your mind.
Accept the play of opposites as revealed to be a whole.

Diminish ego.
Accept blame, for you are the orignal cause.
The dissolution of ego, the fallacy of a separate self, an observer, a viewpoint with an agenda to accomplish. A man grows old and dies, but it is not you.
Overcome identification with a perceived self. Over-identification with self has temporarily blinded you, stripped you of your power, and the knowledge of who you are. Sit on a four-inch stool for five hours a day, every other day for a few years. You may take breaks to eat a little, and stretch your back against a wall, intermittantly fasting, and performing selfless service.
By choosing to identify with a particular perspective (viewpoint), such as a SELF, an EGO, we exclude all other identities that we actually are. The soul, who you are from body to body

DISTRACTION
Choose what to work on. There is too much information to cover all reasonably. Select a piece of the puzzle, a piece of pie, to take on as your own. Trying to stuff a whole pie in your face, you simply make a mess. Focus your efforts through time.

Due to ambition, greed, and desiring worldly involvement, you may avoid dwelling in solitude on mountains, and instead adopt a material view, becoming involved in the profit and loss of business.
Sensual pleasures, participation and desire are like salt water. The more you indulge, the more thirst increases. Abandon at once those things which breed clinging attachment, before their hold on you increases in strength.
Organize mundane affairs to afford excellent opportunities for study and practice. Take care not to allow your possessions and property to take possession of you, using money and time primarily to create auspicious circumstances. Establish a balance from the beginning.
Consciousness may become engrossed in the objects of the senses, mistaking perception for reality. This is considered the root of hallucination and the source of all suffering. A moth may be attracted by a burning lamp, its vision attracted to the bright flame; fish may be attracted to bait, its sense of taste lured by the flavour. In the same way, our attraction to the displays of sense perception catch us in the ephemeral world, a dance of sights, sounds, tastes, smells, and sensations.

Due to impermancence, and the limitation of time in a body, avoid building large organizations, as it may interfere with your practice. Prioritize the tasks at hand, and beware that in the haste to acquire a building, you do not un-necessarily involve yourself, using up the scant time left to you. Whatever you do, whatever your plans and goals, all must be left behind at death, so be sure there is value in having done it. Make due with utilitarian objects. Don't use clothing or objects made from animals.
Don't judge, don't be so interested in the affairs of others. Work on yourself.
The price of entrance into higher realms is attention and awareness. Not that we must put aside material participation, only that we must select out of it that which has interest and value, in our estimation. As a child grows, games that once enthralled fall by the wayside, no longer captivating interest, not stimulating enthusiasm.

Forgo making plans for the years ahead, and instead devote whatever resources you have to the here and now. Study the works of those you admire, and emulate their successes, breaking down their achievements into steps small enough that you can follow. Don't worry if you never match them, that's why they are great. It is enough that you did your best, and achieve what you can in your lifetime. You will be proud of yourself, just in that you tried and died chasing. The moment is yours, so take it and make it great. Enjoy yourself, for this is your today.
Don't focus on mundane issues, not to mention arguing over them, or holding a position one way or the other, as these involvements may distract you from a clear view of the root nature of mind. Relinquish attitudes of ownership and personal ambition. Nothing may be owned, as nothing is solid in the first place. Use whatever riches you amass to further your spiritual development, and benefit other beings. Improper conduct, such as being quarrelsome and mean-spirited, shows you have made little progress on the path.
Attractive objects, although they may seem beautiful, may test your renunciation, so give up attachment.
- Trivial concerns, irrelevant occupation, wasting time -
Only keep resources for the period in which they will be utilized, or give them away to those who may benefit from their use. It's exactly when you are faced with giving away that which you yourself need that generosity comes into focus.

Be aware of starting projects, becoming involved. Everything takes time, and may cause stress. Only by being uninvolved can you have free time, and an unoccupied mind, suitable and available for study and practice. Many people participate in an external, sensually-based life, verifying each other’s illusion and dream-world. Don't use up the hours of the day on activities.
 - Pay Attention -
During a footrace, there is no time to concentrate on much else besides running fast, keeping balanced, and breathing well. Amid the distractions of material life, however, we easily lose sight of this, and become involved with relatively unimportant matters, thereby using up the time given. Valuing money highly, and the things it facilitates, we may lose awareness of time in each moment. Spending the majority of our time on valuable pursuits is paramount, not to find that the time has been spent, and finally, ultimately, we notice death coming.

Value time, and take risks, not just in financial investments, but also in life choices, fun, and involvement. Don't miss your own life, limited by fear and security issues. Even small distractions may be annoying, making concentration difficult. Value silence, and be glad for temporary distractions and annoyances to make clear the value of silence when desired. Weigh also, too much silence may feel lonely, unless you are already internally well-directed and focused.
As you narrow the focus, power increases. As you focus concentration, ultimately to a single point, power increases exponentially.
Identification with possessions create never-ending problems and distractions from realizing the root-nature of mind and being.
If you’ve got money, you’ve got money problems.
If you have a house, you have house problems.

When you’ve got wealth, increasing it and preserving it are a nuisance.
When you’ve got next to nothing, it is equally distracting.
Focus on maintaining the bare necessities, freeing up time for that which you consider valuable. Preoccupation with trivial, external matters leaves scant time remaining to attend to important work. They fritter away the time given in a thousand off-hand ways.
Patrul Rinpoche was completely uninterested in ordinary affairs, turning away Eight Worldly Concerns:

1. Seeking gain
2. Avoiding loss
3. Seeking pleasure
4. Avoid pain
5. Seeking Hoping for praise
fearing blame;
hoping for fame
fearing disgrace.
Those who don't understand the truth may be lost in the various forms of relative knowledge, running about here and there, doing this and that, occupied with money, people, experiences, places and things, trying to justify their view of ego-substance.
The lifespan of human beings being short, and there being many fields of knowledge one may pursue, seek to accomplish the greatest value understood. Don't busy yourself with activities of mundane livelihood, such as acquiring possessions. One needs to turn one's mind away from pleasures and generating and protecting fortunes.

DIFFICULTIES
Situations that bring discouragement are your own making, although it may appear that there are others who are harming you, or intend to. Such situations are the inevitable consequences of your having disparaged others in the past. They provide a great opportunity to bring an end to the karma caused by negative emotions, and a means of training in the art of rooting out your own hidden flaws. They are not an opportunity for reacting with anger or impatience, neither superiority nor inferiority.
If harmful beings or unfortunate circumstances have brought you this far, then count yourself lucky to have had those qualifying events in your life. Problems cause you to seek out solutions, and locate the teachings that may hold answers. Pain and discomfort may cause you to exert yourself, and bring forth effort. Meditating on the true nature of injury and pain may help bring about realization, for pain is the teacher in reverse, localizing the focus of attention on that which matters, and concentrating your efforts.
Challenges that we experience due to the apparently ignorant actions of others are actually part of our larger self giving us lessons that we have agreed to, in order to expiate past karma. This may be hard to recognize in the face of pain and loss, as unfortunate as the experiences may be. On the other hand, if we pay attention and guard the seeds of present and future karma, we may prevent (or at least diminish) misfortune and suffering, and lay the causes for good events and experiences to come.

Serious illness is an opportunity to realize what is important in life.

As the masters report, those who harm us are like a precious treasure, giving the opportunity and instance to practice. Therefore towards all cultivate patience without hostility, even in the face of injustice and ignorant, unkind persecution. Even if someone broadcasts all kinds of unpleasant remarks about you, in return, with a loving mind, cover their mistake and focus on good qualities. Don’t retort or be caught up in their error or bad thinking and action.
Never wish them pain. That's not who you are, or are practicing to be. If they caused you pain, they must have pain inside, so wish them healing. Even if someone tries to hurt you, when you haven't done the slightest thing wrong, out of compassion take their misdeeds to yourself in Tonglen.
Struck by words of abuse, we may notice whether the flames of anger have been mastered. It is said that a true Hasid, a Sufi master, a Yogi, a Lama, a Saintly being, is only worthy of being called 'teacher' when he or she is capable of countering spoken or physical abuse calmly and with restraint, choosing the level of appropriate response wisely.
Gaining and then sharing material wealth, having taken precious time to accumulate and protect it, will test our generous nature, fearing to trust in the divine will to care for our needs. Accomplishing virtuous acts and being generous are due diligence, required steps along the path.
Common folk will test your patience, restraint and wisdom at every opportunity. Therefore, it's good to get out of the monastery, get out of your safety zone, in order to test progress being achieved. This pocess highlights the areas that you may need to work on.
Accept criticism, and consider the merit of both their content as well as intention.
Return love right at the moment they hate you, experiencing joy in the face of suffering and pain, no matter what the source, and how severe the seeming effect, for you are not of this world, and nothing can harm you. Bodies come and go. Pain is the teacher. Stop generating negative karma, for you will experience the result. Generate positive karma, and you will reap the benefical effects.

BAD ASSOCIATION
Gentle by nature, sensitive and compassionate, foolish people may seek to take advantage of me, thinking to lie and cheat. Be aware that all is one, and try to teach without judgement and anger, accepting their ignorance as a reflection of their state of development, not taking insults or attacks personally. Don't give them credit for so much power.
Although you may have achieved some merit, it is only in practical situations and in dealing with annoyances that accomplishment is tested and revealed. Let the challenges of daily life be mastered then, and set in place, so that they may assist you in your journey, and not be obstacles hindering your progress.
Many things are annoying. However, if we battle with every annoyance, it uses up our time and energy. Step back from yourself, and despite the difficulty, despite the frustration, respond in a gentle, wise manner, in control of emotion. Take a breath, and notice that you are not involved.

LETTING GO
Of distraction, obstacles
Purposeful, intentional, sacrifice and suffering, as in the Christian tradition of Our Lady of of Fátima, a series of apocalyptic visions and prophecies given to three young Portuguese shepherds, Lúcia Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto, for the expiation of the negative karma of others. The little girl was fond of voluntary suffering, for the remission and forgiveness of sinners of the world.
Renunciation, letting go of possessions, and ultimately self. For tantra, renunciation is particularly important because sexual desire is used in the path; without renunciation, the practitioner can easily become attached to the object of desire. Renunciation all the way through to holding onto a self, of identification with the objects of the senses, renunciation of possessions, home, community and family.

ON A MOUNTAIN
Seek solitary places on a mountain where you can practice. Visit large, quiet monasteries, making the most of your time and opportunities while in a body. If you wish to swiftly follow in the wake of past masters, consider their actions and behavior and copy them. Spend time among the native peoples, among those who can not only listen but have something to say.

migrate to to the tops of mountains for several reasons.

  1. In the rareified air (atmosphere), the master enjoys the challenge and opportunity of breathing well (better, more correctly), and the price of failure (or not keeping up) is suffering and death.
  2. The master is generating a lot of internal heat, and enjoys progressively colder temperatures, in order to balance the system.

  3. The journey to the top is dangerous and dfficult, and requires preparation in inverse proportion to strength and ability. Therefore, having seen the value, students decide to visit.
The developmental process generates heat, a little heat at first, but as you speed it up, it generates heat, a lot of Heat, and you need to integrate that heat externally, in a colder place, ever colder place, or you'll burn up. Too fast, beyond your ability and you'll hurt yourself. Do not hurt the body; it's the ony one you're getting, so take care of it, don't wear it out, don't wear it roughly. Listen to me, heed my words. Put yourself on a mountain, with cold, crisp air, a few meters at a time, step by step, to acclimate and adjust, to change. You think you're good at change, well a mighty change is coming, so run, with the wind at your back, run.
On a mountain top, with internet access via satellite. With trucks delivering containers of books, the right books, would you read, then make a library. you can't have a school without it. They will come. From miles, from other countries, from the moon they will come. A staff is again in the hands of David, a leader is among us. They will come. Have faith in the word. Read, study, treasure it, don't do anything else until you have done at least this much. The message is the words, power in the words, so read and write it down, sing a song, make a dance, write a book, make a movie, because in the creative endeavor is the golden cord, in creation, the act of creating, is creation. You are the maker, you are the chooser, so choose.
On a mountain, where-ever you are, bring the word until you memorize it, and are practicing well. Remove yourself from among the people, the entry is the mountain itself, the snow, the thin air, as bodies need to be readied for power. Seek out the strong among them, the bold and wise native people living in harmony with the earth. Learn from them, tell stories, listen to their stories, and enjoy the meeting.
On the mountain, where you will find me, and the entrance examination is their desire. Teach all who can reach you, and all whom you can reach. Let them see the light, and they will come. Don't doubt, it's in the word.
Go on the mountain, and bring the word with you, speak words, entertain and explain, dance and prance, speak and the weak shall come running. 'Bring me your sick, and I will heal them.' A healer, a dealer of cards, a joker, the fool, without direction or personal awareness, with honor and respect, with loving kindness. Away from them, let those who chose follow, but don't tell, don't insist, assist, just set the bar higher, and higher, move higher, start with a mountain.
Then snow, and then thin air, higher and higher until only the real can talk with me, only the real words can be spoken. There isn't much time. Only a moment left, so pay attention. To pay attention, you can't use money, so use the money to buy books, build a building, buy lands, go to a country, get helpers, buy land no-one wants, high on a mountain. Make your own electricity, or better still, write with pen and paper, no electricity, no internet.
The mountain is within us, as well as without. Also, it's OK to be alone, although support may accelerate the process. Move to the countryside, just go step by step. Builders, artists, musicians, teachers. Need to be generating heat internally already, have food, learn about plants, energy first. An entire group and building and teachers to be there on the mountain, with study, and arts, and exercises all governed in an orderly way.
Rest assured they will come. Not you alone, many helpers, surrounded by angels, and a planet full of birds and creeping things, to keep you company. And trees and bees and rocks and things. You are not alone. It has been given.

MONASTERIES, TEMPLES
Rather than build, if open after lockdown, consider spending days in old Wats, as these excellent spaces would be virtually impossible to recreate. Sitting silently, working on posture, breathing, and mind-control. Singing quietly perhaps, and spending days busking, sleeping outside in summer, renting a room with a heater or fireplace in winter. Much easier to visit than to imagine carving stone to make elaborate temples, rooms, and sculptures. Must tune in to the energy created by monks meditating in past times, otherwise the temples are just that much rock, brick, and cement.

When you find a great wat, with exceptional practicing monks who accept others' presence, then buy a strong, well-performing folding table and chair for sculpting. A good sitting pad and large mosquito nets are basic equipment. Gather clay, sit at a table, and sculpt, faces and Buddha's if that comes, or whatever pleases you, and as with singing, don't be involved
Spend time visiting larger Wats, and don't disturb the monks there by speaking with them. Consider living near a larger temple in remote wilderness. Find ruins in Thailand, or large, almost empty temples off the tourist areas, near border in mountains. Talk to teachers at forest temples in Thailand, and ask them if there are power places to visit, and who their own teachers were or are, and if any great teachers are renown in Thailand. If staying at a temple or having met a teacher several times, and managed to be quiet or make a good impression, ask for a letter of referral or introduction in Thai . Also, request blessings and teachings, energetic transmissions.
If visiting a Wat, ask the Jawawat for teachings, and be silent and receptive, listening to the reply. Spend time quietly sitting, apart, taking in the energy. Bring my own food and shelter, and if asked to leave, stay nearby and return in the morning. Spend days in study and reflection, writing when the mood moves me to do so, when there is something specific to say. There is a ritual formula that students visiting temples use to greet a master, and ask for instruction in the path towards enlightenment, both personally, and for the sake of all beings.

Teaching is a co-creative process between prepared minds, not a simple information transfer. The attention and focused desire 'calls forth' or 'gives rise to' the teaching mind in the master. The receptivity and preparation of students creates the conditions for wisdom to flow into the teacher's mind and thus be articulated.
The listener's preparation is crucial. Their readiness creates a resonance that awakens the teacher's capacity. The teaching mind emerges from this prepared relationship rather than existing independently. I am the straw that reaches into the cup full of water (teachings). A student appears to seek, thirsty for understanding.
There exists a hidden system of communication, first of which is telepathy. Before establishing communication, the ability to hear and see, the applicant is both deaf and blind. This is primary. Dreams, intuition, astral projection, near death experience, severe trauma, out-of-body. Next is speaking, the ability to focus energy and intention.

Further, there are multiple hidden systems within the human body, and techniques available to restore, recover, and exercise them.

SECTION 2: The hero's journey, path of enlightenment.
Given available energy, and the sight to recognize that some paths have more merit or application than others, just choosing the
hero's journey is rare. More often are people saddled with inferior awareness, leading only to seek material comforts, well beyond
that level actually required for support, thus wasting the scant time available in a body. Somehow, you can't speak the truth
directly, neither will they hear, nor understand, for having looked upon the face of God, they would die. Thus, resorting to
allegory and myth, the speaker gently loosens their bindings.
Ego, Trance States, Development
Let's not get so involved with the world of sensual perception, materialism and making money, as to forget our search for meaning, creativity and love. First as children, and then later on again as parents, we have a busy schedule. There's not much spare time in a day to work on your inner self or search for meaning, after you throw in 8 - 10 hours of work, commuting, and just collapsing in front of the TV at night to unwind.

Writing in the field of human potential, John Gowan's major works are Trance, Art, and Creativity (1975), and Operations of Increasing Order (1980). Gowan's work led him to the notion of a developmental order within states of consciousness. Disruption of this order can lead to mental illness or lesser cases of emotional inhibition. Gowan used Piaget to define the rational development of the mind, and Erikson to chart emotional development. He notes that most adults become emotionally arrested at the level of vocational fulfillment, financial success, and a stable marriage.
Self-initiation through the inner guide may lead to conscious and unconscious integration. The person learns how to handle issues of identity, love and intimacy, and finally death. However, pushing on our boundaries, we run the risk of losing our sense of identity. This is why true creativity is always associated with the genuine danger of self-destruction. By closing the gap between unconscious emotions and rational understanding of behavioral patterns, psychotherapy may facilitate healing of mental and emotional disturbances. This is 'The Hero's Journey' into conscious transformation, the age-old spiritual quest.

Romantic Love & Relationships
Men in love show more activity in the visual part of the brain, while women in love show more activity in the part of the brain that governs memory. Biological scientists speculate that men have to size up a woman visually to see how well she may bear babies, while women have to observe and remember aspects of man's behavior to determine if he would be an adequate provider. Men and women are biologically wired to express love in different ways. Women often feel loved when talking face to face with their partner, while men often feel closer to their partners when they work, play, or talk side by side. In an experiment, strangers of the opposite sex were together for 90 minutes where they talked about intimate details of their lives, and stared into each other's eyes. Many felt a deep attraction for each other, and two couples married within six months. The longer and more deliberate a courtship, the better the prospects for a long marriage. On the other hand, people who have intense romances are more likely to divorce after a few years.
Romantic love typically lasts just over one calendar year, perhaps because the brain cannot maintain a state of romantic bliss. As romantic love dwindles, a more stable love sets in. To remain in love for a lifetime, therapists advise couples to listen actively, ask questions about feelings, and stay physically fit. Men are more likely to be flexible in their romantic choices, but when they want to marry and have kids, they become pickier about basic qualities.
If a man meets a woman in a dangerous situation, such as on a trembling bridge, he is more likely to fall in love with her than if he met her in a normal setting, such as in an office. Girls are more likely to fall in love if they are looking for adventure, craving to leave home, are lonely, displaced in a foreign country, or passing into a new stage of life. Women around the world are more likely to fall in love with partners with ambition, education, wealth, respect, status, and a sense of humor. Women also prefer distinctive cheekbones and a strong jawbone, which are linked to testosterone levels.

Anger Management
If you find yourself getting into frequent arguments over nothing, you may need to work on your anger-management skills. Big fights often happen over something small, like dishes left unwashed, piling up in the sink, but there's usually a bigger issue burning beneath the blow-up. Before your emotions take control, ask yourself, "What am I really angry about?" Identifying the real source of frustration will help you communicate your feelings, and work towards a resolution. Once you're able to recognize early warning signs, and anticipate your trigger-points, you can take action. First of all, take a deep breath, and better still, take several more deep breaths. Deep, slow breathing helps counter rising tension levels. Slowly count to ten. Then take a final deep breath again, before going back to your argument with a calmer mind.
It's okay to be upset at someone, but if you don't fight fair, the relationship will quickly break down. Make the relationship your priority, not winning the argument. Be respectful of your partner's viewpoint. Rather than looking to the past and assigning blame, focus on what you can do in the present to solve the problem. Conflicts can be draining, so consider whether the issue is really worth all that time and energy you're putting in. Be willing to forgive, and realize that resolving conflict is pretty much impossible if you're simply unwilling or unable to forgive. If that's the case, know when to let something go, and agree to disagree. It takes two people to keep an argument going, and while you can't control anger directly, you sure can control how you respond to it. Set clear boundaries about what you will and will not tolerate, and stick to your limits.

Signs of Depression
Get up off the couch or your bed, and get outdoors. I don't want to hear excuses, just follow the instructions. Fresh air and exercise can't be discounted. Depression varies from person to person, but there are some common signs and symptoms. It's important to remember that these symptoms can be part of life's normal lows. But the more symptoms you have, the stronger they are, and the longer they've lasted, the more likely it is that you're dealing with depression. Rates of depression in women are twice as high as they are in men. As for signs and symptoms, women are more likely than men to experience pronounced feelings of guilt, sleep excessively, overeat, and gain weight.
Get plenty of sleep. Lack of sleep has been shown to have a direct link to hunger, overeating, and weight gain. Exhaustion also impairs your judgment, which can lead to poor food choices. Aim for around 8 hours of quality sleep a night. Get plenty of exercise. Exercise is a dieter's best friend. It not only burns calories, but can actually improve your resting metabolism. No time for a long workout? Research shows that three 10-minute spurts of exercise per day are just as good as one 30-minute workout. Drink more water. You can easily reduce your daily calorie intake by replacing soda, alcohol, or coffee with water. Thirst can also be confused with hunger, so by drinking water, you may avoid consuming extra calories, plus it will help you break down food more easily.
